Commitment
One of the most beautiful of all pictures in the sanctuary is the golden throne of mercy resting upon the ark of judgment. God’s character is a perfect blending of mercy and righteousness which continues even today. Jesus died as our great sin sacrifice, but continues his intercessory ministry as represented by the mercy seat. Through the sacrifice and intercession of our Savior, we may receive mercy which blots outs our sins and mercy to receive the merciful character of our God. Will you look to Jesus’ sacrifice and intercession that you may be saved through His mercy and become merciful through His grace?
