The old covenant sanctuary was the central aspect of the entire worship during the Old Testament period, yet it is so often misunderstood or not even studied today. The Bible says, "Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary; Who is so great a God as our God?" Psalm 77:13. The sanctuary reveals the path and the way to heaven because the very center of the entire sanctuary is Jesus Christ.
