Revelation's Glorious Climax

Intro

What is the climax of this earth’s history? Does prophecy reveal a climax just around the door? I’ll be back in a moment with the prophetic perspective on “Revelation’s Glorious Climax.”

Message

Hello, this is Cody Francis with Prophetic Perspectives. As we contemplate what Revelation pictures as the glorious climax for this world, I would like to think back eighty some years ago to November 26, 1922. After fifteen fruitless years of searching, a discovery was about to be made which had been kept secret for over 3000 years. Howard Carter made the tiny breach in the top left hand corner and peered by candlelight into the tomb of Tut-ang-ka-men. The treasures that were unearthed from this “boy king’s” tomb astonished the world. It was not so much that King Tut was the most wealthy or decorated of the Pharaoh’s but rather that his tomb had mostly escaped grave robbers. Lavish treasures from the golden death mask to the mummy itself stunned the world of the wealth and opulence of ancient Egypt and led to the resurrection of interest in modern Egyptology. But what does Egyptology and King Tut have to do with Revelation’s Glorious Climax? As we consider the glories of ancient Egypt, let us turn to the unsurpassed glories of Word of God to discover what Revelation’s Glorious Climax will be like, but before opening the holy Word of God, let us pray.
