Hello, this is Cody Francis with Prophetic Perspectives. The interest in the paranormal continues to grow receiving publicity from Hollywood to politics. From Richard Nixon to Nancy Reagan and beyond, prominent politicians have counseled with the paranormal world and made decisions based upon their advice. Nancy Reagan was known to direct even minute details of President Reagan’s schedule from information gathered from her astrologer. Hollywood continues to glamorize the paranormal with strings of movies and popular television shows. From The Sixth Sense to Medium, millions are watching those who claim to be able to communicate with the dead. The CIA even spent some 20 million dollars of taxpayer’s money funding Project Stargate, in which intelligence was sought through psychic powers. With the bombardment of propaganda from the celebrities to politicians, Americans ideas about contacting the dead are changing, but what does the Bible say? Do these messengers from the spirit world bring messages to be heeded or is it a dangerous deception? As we turn to Bible prophecy to understand the onslaught of paranormal information, let us ask guidance from above.
