Revelation's Temple

Intro

On August 21, 1969, a fire was started in one of the world’s holy sites that sparked outrage around the world and repercussions are still heard today. I’ll be back in a moment with the prophetic perspective on Israel’s Prophetic Temple.

Message

Hello, this is Cody Francis with Prophetic Perspectives. That arson attempt made over thirty-five years ago that provoked universal outrage was the setting on fire of the south wing of the Al-aqsa Mosque by Michael Dennis Rohan. His motive, to hasten the return of Jesus by destroying the mosque and preparing the way for the Third Temple to be rebuilt. Although a single act by an individual who was later declared to be mentally unstable and deported from Israel, it is not an uncommon belief. Jewish groups such as the Temple Mount Faithful and the Temple Institute’s purpose to prepare for the rebuilding of the temple. The Temple Institute has even built the furniture to be used in the Third Temple. But Jewish groups are not the only ones with an interest in the Temple Mount. Many Christian groups believe that the Jews will need to build the Third Temple in order for the final prophecies to be fulfilled. Is it possible that a Jewish temple could replace the mosques on the Temple Mount? Is it necessary for a temple to be rebuilt according to Bible prophecy? Instead of turning to popular opinions and famous preachers, we need to turn to the Word of God. What does the Bible say about Revelation’s Temple?
