Commitment
Belshazzar did not follow and obey God. He knew what he needed to do, but did it not. He served his own ease, inclination, and pleasure. Because he knew to do right and did it not (James 4:17), he was weighed in the balances and found wanting. Daniel, on the other hand, knew what God asked of him, and he faithfully did it. God was able to deliver Daniel because of this. Will you follow the example of Daniel instead of Belshazzar that your end may be as Daniel and not Belshazzar?
